1-Bit Rogue: A Simple Monochrome Roguelike
1-Bit Rogue is a monochrome roguelike game created by kan.kikuchi. The game features simple retro pixel art and a chiptune soundtrack that brings back nostalgic feelings of the PSG sound chip. The game offers a 50-floor randomized dungeon where you can collect artifacts and defeat dragons.
As you progress through the game, you must keep in mind that weapons decay with use and will break if their durability hits 0. The game offers five different classes to choose from, including a ninja, and features a final boss and an epic ending.
To play, simply use the virtual D-pad to move in four directions and long-tap to skip a turn. You can level up by using coins, which can be accessed from the bottom left of the title screen. The game was designed by Skipmore and programmed by Kan Kikuchi, with translation by NEP.
